Alpha Male StatusAlpha Male AttitudeHenry Ford said, “Whether you think you can or you cannot, you’re usually right.” What this means is that attitude is everything. While on your journey to alpha male status, you have to realize that you are doing something totally natural, achievable, and good. You deserve to be an alpha male and enjoy all the benefits that come along with it. “Alpha male” is not synonymous with “cocky”. Alpha males don’t have to be jerks. The alpha male must be respected by his peers. Cocky jerks are not worthy of being respected by anyone with value. So the attitude that the alpha male has is one of perseverance, respect, and goodness. Remember from the Energy unit: alpha male status is what you make of it (You reap what you sow). That being said, if absolute control and authority is the destination, the road is filled with energy (it’s everywhere) and problems (they’re everywhere), then attitude is the vehicle (or the approach toward AMS). The alpha male neophyte is to realize that he is on a journey that no person or thing has the authority to interfere with. He needs to realize that he has the power to squash any interference that arises like a bug on the windshield. Most of all he has to believe that what he’s doing is right – that there’s light at the end of the tunnel and he WILL reach it. Anyone who dares to stand in the way of the alpha male is simply a problem to be dealt with. With the right attitude, the vast majority of problems can be solved...
